Deej Speaks About Life, Love, and Happenstance

One Of Today's Great Minds Shares His Thoughts

January 13th, 2004 -- Recently, the vee device webteam had a chance to sit down and talk with our favorite bass player.

Webteam: "So Deej, how's it going?"
Deej: "Awesome. Aside from the album, which I must say is going to be incredible, I've got several side projects in the works."
Webteam: "Such as?"
Deej: "Well, we all know of G-Man's love for rocket science. You may not know that I myself am a scientist of sorts -- a social-scientist. Me and my friends over at the paint store put our heads together and came up with a new marketing concept we think will take the world by storm. It's called non-directional advertising. Basically, the idea is to put up something completely random on your marquee, thereby enticing inquiries from customers you might not otherwise find. You watch -- soon everyone will be doing it. All I know is that our first attempt has met with great success."
Webteam: "Cutting edge. There's no other way to describe you, my friend."
Deej: "I know."
Webteam: "Tell us more about this new album..."
Deej: "It's epic. It's sweeping. It's majestic. Most of all, it's damn good. Most people today aren't even aware that we exist. This will change all of that. Mozart, the Beatles, Coldplay -- in the end, we'll be remembered over those pandering primadonnas." (here Deej gave a few hearty guffaws)
Webteam: "You sound pretty confident."
Deej: "Oh I am. But seriously, vee device is going to be a household name by year's end. I foresee the revolution hitting the cover of Rolling Stone. We're going to be a bigger name than Captain Crunch. Even your mother will love us. Huge, I tell you... huge."
Webteam: "Horatio Alger would be proud."
Deej: "Exactly -- 'Strive and succeed.' He'd be clapping for us if he were still around."
Webteam: "No doubt. To grace the cover of a fine periodical like Rolling Stone would be the epitome of all he held dear."
Deej: "I think you're right."

And to think...today the world knows nothing of what is brewing. And tomorrow... just wait and see.

Three cheers for Deej. Long Live The vee Revolution.
