Fast Fact: Years ago, he was exiled to St. Helena; but unlike Bonaparte, he made his way back to shore.
Bio: Little is known of the elusive, enigmatic vee. What scant records exist suggest that he was born while the rivers were at flood crest. Some disagree and claim instead that he was born of a shooting star. There are stories of how, by age five, he took flight; but being disillusioned with the feat, he stuck to the terra firma afterward. Stories abound of his powerful vision seeing things none else did. Ask him of his past and he'll give you his trademark wry grin; a shake of his head and a meek chuckle serve as his only reply. You see, these things have been his allies for longer than you and I might imagine. Maybe it's his unassuming look of boyish youth, but he seems to exist untouched by time. Many have said there's something disarming about his presence -- that his quiet reserve and steady gaze whisper of time forgotten, as if at home in a distant past. And it may be true, there are those willing to stake that his is an ancient spirit, as old as any this world has seen...
Just who is this man bigger than myth? In the end, we know very little save the fact that he is here now. His life and the legends surrounding it have almost become inseparable. In fact, one scholar has gone so far as to say "vee is unique in the world today not because he is forging his own constantly evolving mythology, but because it is a mythology in which we all want to believe -- what's special about vee is that he has the power to make us believe." We may not know where he came from, but perhaps that's why he's here. vee has a secret and it is this: his life is not his own -- it is the life we all share.
And so holding true to the spirit of his namesake, our reluctant hero ventures out into the world with a guitar slung on his back. If along the way, he helps in the fight against the tyranny of soulless music, it's all for the better...
